Hourly Pay Range: $43.69 - $67.72. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position: RN House Operations Administrator
Location:
Evanston, IL
Part Time: 36 hours per week
Hours:
Monday-Friday, rotating weekends every other and holidays

A Brief OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant. As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing expert clinical guidance and leadership to enhance patient care outcomes, promote staff development, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
What you will do- Serve as a clinical expert in a specific area of nursing practice, providing guidance and support to nursing staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess and improve patient care protocols and practices.
- Conduct educational sessions, workshops, and in-service training for nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
- Mentor and coach nurses to promote professional growth and excellence in patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data analysis, and the development of evidence-based care protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Provide guidance on compliance issues and assist in regulatory audits and inspections.
- Advocate for the highest quality of care for patients and families.
- Address patient and family concerns and assist in resolving any issues related to care.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in nursing practice.
- Assist in the implementation of evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of education sessions, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance efforts.
- Generate reports and data analysis to track progress and outcomes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required) or Master's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- 5+ years of clinical nursing experience required – current inpatient medical/surgical, critical care strongly preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) – Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS required.
