Hours:

7a - 5:30p with call rotation (4-6 per 6 wk schedule), 1 weekend per 6 wk schedule and 2-4 holiday shifts/yr

• Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit.
• Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate.
• Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assumes responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and makes decisions based on therapeutic relationship with the patient.
• Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required; BSN preferred.
• IL RN License, CPR and BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience in comparable role (preferred basic computer skills).
