Position

Clinical Nurse Educator, Interventional Radiology – Evanston Hospital. Full Time. Hourly Pay Range: $38.16 - $59.15.

What You Need
  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required;
    Master's degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of recent Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, EP Lab, or other procedural nursing experience.
  • Previous education, preceptor, or staff development experience preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Experience using Epic or another electronic medical record system preferred.
  • Specialty certification or willingness to obtain certification within one year of eligibility.
What You Will Do
  • Lead the orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education of nurses and clinical staff within the Interventional Radiology department.
  • Serve as a clinical resource by mentoring staff, providing bedside coaching, and supporting evidence‑based nursing practice.
  • Partner with department leadership to identify educational needs, develop competencies, and improve quality, safety, and patient experience outcomes.
  • Design and deliver educational programs, skills training, and competency assessments while supporting specialty certification and professional development.
  • Maintain clinical expertise by providing direct patient care as needed and promoting excellence in Interventional Radiology nursing practice.
