School Registered Nurse (RN) in Evanston, IL

You'll have the chance to care for approximately 500 students, playing a pivotal role in health and wellness at a well-regarded school serving grades kindergarten through eighth.

• Current RN license in good standing
• Previous school nursing experience required
• Familiarity with K-8 student populations and their unique healthcare needs
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with faculty and parents
• Enthusiasm for supporting children’s health and academic success

• Provide direct nursing services to students—from first aid to chronic condition management
• Administer medication and maintain accurate health records in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Serve as a health resource for students, families, and school staff
• Perform health screenings and implement preventive healthcare measures
• Respond effectively to school health emergencies and coordinate care as needed
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and healthy school environment for all
