Salary: USD $115,000 – $130,000 per year.

Our state‑of‑the‑art facility on Broadway hosts a dedicated team of expert veterinarians who provide individualized treatment plans and comprehensive, compassionate medicine.

About Our Location – Edgewater, Chicago

Work in a vibrant lakeside community minutes from Metra, major bus lines, and the Chicago Loop. Clients come from Edgewater, Rogers Park, West Ridge, Ravenswood, and beyond. Nearby attractions include boutiques, vintage shopping, Wrigley Field, O’Hare Airport, museums, dining, and cultural events.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose disease or injuries.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and interpret results.
  • Advise pet owners on preventive care and treatment options.
  • Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide counsel regarding end‑of‑life care.
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, statutes, policies, and procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
  • Appropriate state licensure.
  • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients.
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; assistance for heavier loads.
