Part-Time Store Cashier​/Stocker

ALDI is looking for enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers. As a cashier, you’ll provide friendly, efficient checkout service, while as a stocker, you’ll help keep shelves stocked and organized to ensure a great shopping experience. Each role plays an important part in maintaining smooth store operations and delivering an excellent customer shopping experience.

  Year 2 - $19.50;
  Year 3 - $20.00;

• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Model and fulfill all customer service principles and elevate concerns to store management as necessary.
• Assist store management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Assist store management in achieving total loss goals.
• Comply with all established company policies and processes.
• Support store management in providing a safe working environment by identifying hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics, and maintaining equipment in working order.
• Maintain store zone standards and merchandising standards at all times.
• Adhere to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.

• Utilize the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to accurately scan and process customer purchases and inform store management of scanning concerns or errors.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Follow the line policy and open additional check lanes as required to ensure efficient checkout.
• Complete curbside pickup orders by accurately retrieving items from the store, verifying order contents, and ensuring timely delivery to customers’ vehicles from the staging area.

• Stock shelves and displays neatly while following merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Stockers must be able to arrive at work as early as 5:00 a.m.

• Push, pull, sit, stand, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and move from one area to another.
• Lifting, carrying, and placing product weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights, including overhead.
• Operating equipment such as a cash register, electric and manual hand jacks, floor scrubber and cardboard baler.
• Stocking product in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments.
• Using glass and multipurpose cleaning products.

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubbers, cardboard balers, pallet jacks, handheld devices, and computers.
• Interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Work independently and with others.
• Organize, prioritize, and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established time frames.
• Maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
• Meet availability requirements.

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
