As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets members’ expectations.

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educating other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentoring new technicians, communicating and developing interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications and seasonality, and displays knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone and in‑person selling techniques.
• Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience and elevate associate engagement. Utilizes handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application and training, and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner: Communicates equipment, tools and supplies needs to TBC Lead; tracks and monitors returns and special orders; operates cash registers and processes transactions; works hand‑on in the physical area maintaining accurate inventory; audits safety and compliance standards; reports TBC complaints, safety hazards and problems; completes paperwork, logs and other required documentation; ensures merchandise is packaged, labeled and stored in accordance with company policies;
  
  identifies member needs and assists members with purchasing decisions and resolves issues and concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate by valuing the member’s experience in the TBC area and modeling high‑quality service and products; develops, influences and inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive and team‑oriented manner; understands roadblocks and assists in training team members.
• Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity, using the Open Door Policy and implementing related action plans.
• Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines and expectations; carries out tasks; communicates progress and information; recommends ways to address improvement opportunities and adapts to change, difficulty and feedback.

• Valid state‑issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

• Auto service industry experience.
• Retail experience.

Hourly wage range: $20.50 to $28.50 per hour. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
