Converged Communication Systems (based in Evanston, IL) is seeking Telecom engineers and field‑intensive support professionals to join our expanding network operations center. We offer growth potential and work closely with our IT‑centric Stratosphere division to ensure end‑to‑end technology success.
RolesTelecom Engineers, Phone System Programmers, and PBX Field Technicians (Avaya, Cisco, Nortel, NEC, Mitel, and/or IP Telephony)
Primary focus on Avaya IP Telephony, supporting Cisco, NEC, and Nortel. Candidates may also work with routing, switching, SIP, VoIP, firewalls, Layer‑3 switches, and routing appliances.
Telecom Engineers, PBX Programmers, and Project Management
Experience with Avaya, Cisco, NEC, Mitel, Shoretel, or Nortel is welcome. Roles include project management from start to finish and maintenance engineering for day‑to‑day support of all solutions.
Installation & Maintenance Field‑Intensive Technicians
Field technicians will perform maintenance, support, rack/stack, cutovers, wiring/cabling, and client‑facing activities. Physical experience, site surveys, and schedule flexibility are required.
Entry‑Level Positions
New graduates or individuals with little experience can join a mentor program. 40‑hour work weeks are required for rapid skill development.
