Summary:

This position is responsible for developing and enhancing our websites and online applications. This person will work with the database team to assist in supporting our association management system (AMS). In addition, the Junior Application Developer will ensure the operational and data integrity of the AMS and its integrations with internal and third party systems.
* Responsibilities:
* * Build, enhance, and maintain high performance, scalable systems in .Net to support the current and future demands of our association members and users.
* Test customizations, integrations along with AMS service pack and hot fix releases.
* Write high quality source code and complete application development within deadlines.
* Assist with testing and deploying applications to various environments.
* Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
* Serve as a knowledgeable resource on applications and provide technical support to staff and vendors.
* Work directly with Senior Manager, Applications Development to identify components of an application that are susceptible to performance, stability, and scalability issues with the ability to troubleshoot and debug applications when the need arises.
* Ensure all aspects of AMS integrations are coordinated, tested and functioning properly.
* Assist coordinating efforts with website and association management system vendors when implementing new functionality, enhancements and upgrades.
* Maintain up-to-date end-user documentation and standard operating procedures. Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
* In coordination with Senior Manager, Applications Development, develop and lead end-user training to support new and updated application functionality.
* Participate in requirements gathering and analysis.
* Keep abreast of developments in internet technology; design features and capabilities for the association management system that keeps current with .NET and JavaScript technologies.
* Perform all other duties as may be assigned.
* Required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* * Experience as a .NET Developer.
* Excellent troubleshooting and testing acumen, looking for issues and not always follow happy path.
* Strong development, programing and scripting skills - C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, DOM, SQL.
* Tool set includes Visual Studio / Code, SQL Server Management Studio, Git, Trello and Slack.
* Self-starting ability to gather and analyze information, conceptualize and set priorities, while working independently or when collaborating as part of a team.
* Proactive nature and willingness to take on tickets, tasks and projects.
* Ability to work on simultaneous tasks & projects and complete them on staggered deadlines.
* In addition, successful candidates at this level in the organization must exhibit the following behaviors:

* Education and Experience:
* · B.S in IT, Computer Science or equivalent experience in Object Oriented Programming.
· 2 years of software development experience a plus.
· iOS and/or Android App development a plus.
· Experience with membership organizations and volunteers desired but not required.
* Comments:
* This position interacts closely with all departments and staff s position may require some evening and weekend work. xrlwcon Employee must have the ability to travel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $77,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
