Plant Operator

Deaconess -  -  - Responsibilities:
Operates and maintains hospital's central utility plant including steam, chilled water, emergency power, medical gases, fire suppression, and domestic water.;
Performs routine inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, cooling towers, emergency generators, and associated pumps/valves.;
Processes work orders and preventive maintenance orders; maintains regulatory documentation.;
Identifies malfunctioning components and performs repairs or replacements within budget.;
Ensures safety and regulatory compliance, including lockout/tagout, safety procedures, and coordination with contractors when needed.
