General Laborer

HR Solutions is seeking multiple General Laborers for our client in the Mount Vernon, IN area.

This is a contract assignment and there are various shifts available.

• Maintain constant observation of workers performing hazardous or high-risk tasks
• Ensure all safety procedures and permits are properly completed and active before work begins
• Control access to restricted or hazardous areas and allow only authorized personnel to enter
• Communicate continuously with workers and supervisors regarding conditions, hazards, or changes in the work environment
• Inspect and verify that all required safety equipment and PPE are available, functional, and properly used
• Respond immediately to emergencies as outlined in company policy
• Report unsafe acts, near misses, and incidents to supervision and document all observations as required

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be adaptable and be able to work in a fast-paced environment

• $20.00 / hour
