Facilities & Outlying Buildings Supervisor

Are you an experienced maintenance professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for creating safe, well-maintained environments? Join Deaconess as our Facilities & Outlying Buildings Supervisor, where you'll oversee the maintenance and operations of our off-site facilities, grounds, and building systems while leading a dedicated team committed to excellence. This role is based out of Evansville but supports Deaconess outlying locations not on the hospital campus.
This includes clinic locations in Evansville, Newburgh, Princeton, Ft Branch, Oakland City, Rockport, Jasper and Mt. Vernon (Indiana) as well as Owensboro, Henderson and Sebree (Kentucky).
- Lead the maintenance and operations of outlying buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Coordinate projects from planning and development through completion and occupancy.
- Supervise and support maintenance staff by providing training, coaching, and daily direction.
- Manage contractors and outside vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
- Oversee landscaping, snow removal, HVAC replacement, plumbing, and building repair projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with departmental budgeting, monitor expenses, and process invoices.
- Serve as the Engineering & Maintenance Department representative while collaborating with employees, physicians, administrators, contractors, vendors, and the community.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or construction management.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Experience managing contractors, vendors, and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and general facility maintenance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications Education RequiredHigh School or better.
PreferredAssociates or better.
ExperiencePreferred5 years:
Minimum of five years' relevant experience in a varied field of engineering and/or maintenance, above education and technical requirements.
