As a Dishwasher for dnata Catering, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and airline equipment while operating a conveyor dishwasher. Your role will involve operating commercial conveyor dishwashing machines, properly handling, and storing clean dishes, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Follow established rules of entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene and observe security precautions as mandated by management.
• Load dishwashing machine with soiled chinaware, trays, glasses, and silverware into appropriate carriers.
• Ensure that the dishwashing machine is operating at a proper temperature and has detergent and necessary chemicals for proper operation.
• Unload the machine and place cleaned items in appropriate racks or storage containers in proper storage areas.
• Sanitize all trolleys, carriers, oven racks, and drawers and deliver them to the proper area for storage.
• Development of HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Workplace Safety protocols.
• Other duties as assigned by unit Supervisors.

High School Diploma or GED preferred with 2+ years’ experience in cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience.

• Excellent attention to detail and self‑organized.
• Must meet all applicable state and local food handler certification requirements for the work location (Texas requires a Food Handler Certificate within 60 days of hire).
• Ability to deal with heavy workloads.
• Strong prioritization skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks.
• Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays).
• While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi‑task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards, including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires constant attendance and punctuality.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Safety and Security – observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.

• The essential functions of this position are performed indoors. The noise level in the work environment can range from minimal to loud.
