Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager

Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager with pay of $39–$40/hour at Avantara Evergreen Park, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Evergreen Park, Illinois. We hold the Gold Seal of Approval® for Post-Acute Care and Nursing Care from The Joint Commission and offer compassionate, individualized care through short-term rehabilitation and long-term nursing services. Our community is located near downtown Chicago with access to public transportation, major routes, parks, restaurants, and shopping.

This role supports leadership in day-to-day unit operations, staff supervision, education, infection prevention, and staffing to meet resident needs.

• Assist in supervising clinical staff on the unit and provide education and guidance as needed

To be considered, candidates must have:

• An active, unencumbered Illinois LPN license
• CPR certification
• A minimum of two (2) years of LPN experience in a skilled nursing setting

Preferred qualifications include prior unit or department leadership experience and five (5) years of LPN experience in skilled nursing.
