Position: (USA) Personal Shopper - Sam's

Position Summary:

Develops and supports Membership by providing information on Membership benefits, promoting the value of Company products and services, processing Memberships upgrades and credit accounts, participating in sales and marketing events, and making efforts to meet Membership goals. Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, adhering to Company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.

Fulfills Member Fax n Pull and Click n Pull orders by reviewing orders, pulling items from shelves, scanning items, wrapping, palletizing, ensuring accuracy of orders and invoices, securing items until Members arrive, and following up on out-of-stock merchandise to meet Member needs. Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners;

identifies priorities, deadlines, expectations; carries out tasks; communicates progress and information; determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities and adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback. Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the Company's products and services. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Cultivates a culture of belonging, respect, integrity, and excellence among associates.

Responsibilities

Develop and support Membership processes, handle upgrades and credit accounts, participate in sales events, and work toward Membership goals. Ensure facility safety, conduct safety sweeps, apply forklift and hazardous material protocols, and report unsafe situations. Process and fulfil Member Fax, Pull, and Click n Pull orders, including inventory management and accuracy checks. Prioritise tasks based on policies and data, collaborate with team members, communicate progress, and recommend improvements.

Deliver Member service by identifying needs, assisting decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products. Adhere to policies, procedures, and a strong ethical standard, fostering an inclusive, respectful, and excellent workplace.

Compensation

Hourly wage range: $18.50 to $26.50 (actual rate will equal or exceed minimum wage). Additional compensation in the form of premiums may range from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
