Job Title: Case Aide Supervisor

Exempt/Non-exempt: EXEMPT

Essential Functions:

• Primarily responsible for providing case assignments, direct supervision, guidance, and support to Case Aides, ensuring their adherence to agency policies and best practices, ensuring follow through and appropriate communication and documentation occurs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and training processes for program staff, ensuring the development of a skilled and dedicated team.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting, maintaining meticulous records of case progress, incidents, and interventions. Collaborate with community resources and agencies to enhance support services available to clients and Case Aides.
• Maintain tracking of assignments and scheduled visits, ensuring accurate and corresponding documentation.
• Ensure scheduling and logistic information is provided and all required visits are completed safely.
• Provides regular supervision with corresponding documentation and professional development of staff.
• Conducts team meetings on a weekly basis.
• May provide oversight of the Initial Clothing and Equipment
• Monitors the quality and quantity of case aide services provided by the case aides.
• May work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. Willingness to travel through high-risk communities as needed.
• Maintains and conveys knowledge of car seat safety protocol and regulatory requirements to staff.
• Works effectively with other supervisors to assure the orderly transfer to cases into the Home and Relative/Traditional Foster Care Unit.
• Appropriately communicate with all members of the child welfare team and respond in a timely manner.
• Provide timely approval of expense reimbursements, timecards, and overtime requests.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to drive one’s own vehicle and transport children, youth, and adults as needed.
• Demonstrated organizational ability and Demonstrated scheduling and logistics experience.
• Excellent communication skills and development of team building.
• Exercise good judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Understanding of child welfare practices, policies, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in utilizing relevant software and technology for case management.

Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Social Work, Human Service, Phycology, or a related field preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Child Welfare required. Or a high school diploma with 5 years of Child Welfare experience.
