About Us
Hoʻopili Community Association (HCA) manages the shared spaces, amenities, and community programs for one of West Oʻahu’s largest master-planned communities. Our goal is to provide residents with clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities while creating a welcoming place to live.
Position Summary
We are looking for a hands‑on Operations Manager to oversee daily maintenance operations, supervise the maintenance team, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and help keep the community running smoothly. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in the Ewa Beach/Kapolei area.
Compensation:
- $75K to 85K Annually (depending on qualifications)
- Medical, Vision and Dental
- Option to join Simple IRA employer match program after 1 year of employment
- Must complete a 3 month probation period
- Must pass a drug test
- Must pass a criminal background check
Some
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supervise and support a maintenance team of about 10 employees.
- Monitor work orders and maintenance projects.
- Coordinate repairs and obtain vendor proposals.
- Help manage maintenance budgets and expenses.
- Oversee the condition of parks, facilities, and common areas.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and supply inventories.
- Support landscaping and tree maintenance programs.
- Manage soccer field operations and related billing.
- Respond to resident concerns and assist with issue resolution.
- Help prepare facilities for rentals and community events.
- Conduct staff meetings and annual performance evaluations.
- Update and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Fill in during staffing shortages when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- At least 5 years of property management experience.
- At least 3 years of team leadership experience
- Basic handyman or maintenance knowledge.
- Comfortable using computers, Gmail, Excel, and Google Drive.
- Good communication and multitasking abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to complete tasks independently.
- Willing to learn new technology and software.
- Able to lift at least 30 pounds.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including Sundays
