About Us

Hoʻopili Community Association (HCA) manages the shared spaces, amenities, and community programs for one of West Oʻahu’s largest master-planned communities. Our goal is to provide residents with clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities while creating a welcoming place to live.

Position Summary

We are looking for a hands‑on Operations Manager to oversee daily maintenance operations, supervise the maintenance team, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and help keep the community running smoothly. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in the Ewa Beach/Kapolei area.

Compensation:

  • $75K to 85K Annually (depending on qualifications)
  • Medical, Vision and Dental
  • Option to join Simple IRA employer match program after 1 year of employment
  • Must complete a 3 month probation period
  • Must pass a drug test
  • Must pass a criminal background check

Some

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise and support a maintenance team of about 10 employees.
  • Monitor work orders and maintenance projects.
  • Coordinate repairs and obtain vendor proposals.
  • Help manage maintenance budgets and expenses.
  • Oversee the condition of parks, facilities, and common areas.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and supply inventories.
  • Support landscaping and tree maintenance programs.
  • Manage soccer field operations and related billing.
  • Respond to resident concerns and assist with issue resolution.
  • Help prepare facilities for rentals and community events.
  • Conduct staff meetings and annual performance evaluations.
  • Update and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Fill in during staffing shortages when needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • At least 5 years of property management experience.
  • At least 3 years of team leadership experience
  • Basic handyman or maintenance knowledge.
  • Comfortable using computers, Gmail, Excel, and Google Drive.
  • Good communication and multitasking abilities.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to complete tasks independently.
  • Willing to learn new technology and software.
  • Able to lift at least 30 pounds.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including Sundays
