Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
- Perform repair and preventive maintenance to facility and building systems at Center
- Research and recommend purchase of replacement equipment as needed
- Might oversee training of students assigned to maintenance area
- Might oversee activities and quality performance of outside contractors performing repairs/replacements
- Conduct periodic inspections of building systems and equipment to ensure working quality
- Might coordinate activities with Facilities Maintenance vocational training program, if applicable
- Complete work orders assigned in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be 21 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate of Arts preferred)
- 1 year building maintenance experience required
- Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, boilers, and other building systems preferred
- Physical requirements:
sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, crouching; must be able to lift 40 pounds and/or assess lift load to request assistance
