Position Title:
Mechanical Maintenance Technician

This role is essential for ensuring the operational efficiency of mechanical systems within the organization. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will serve as a crucial link between the engineering, sales, and marketing teams, facilitating effective communication regarding project specifications and maintenance needs. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability to evolving challenges, particularly in working with older equipment. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to influence the development of this new role, contributing valuable insights and improvements to maintenance processes.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 / Year DOE

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and other production equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Calibrate PLC coding and oversee preventative maintenance schedules
• Collaborate with internal teams to address maintenance specifications and client needs
• Provide on-call support for emergency maintenance as required

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, including CNC and PLC coding
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• OSHA 10 or 40 hour certification is preferred
• ISO 9001 knowledge is preferred
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies is preferred
• Technical degree or trade certification is preferred
• An engineering background is preferred
• Familiarity with CMMS systems is preferred
• Experience operating larger equipment, such as forklifts and overhead cranes, is preferred
