Maintenance ManagerMaintenance Manager
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and manage maintenance technicians and support staff.
- Oversee daily maintenance operations, work orders, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure timely completion of repairs, unit turns, and property improvement projects.
- Manage maintenance related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors, including obtaining bids and managing project execution.
- Maintain accurate records, inventories, and maintenance schedules.
- Participate in apartment inspections and unit readiness processes.
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Assist with maintaining the overall appearance of the property, including common areas, grounds, and snow removal as needed.
Previous maintenance management or supervisory experience in a multi-family community.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and general maintenance.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with maintenance management software is a plus.
- A hands-on leadership approach.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to build and motivate a high-performing maintenance team.
- Dedication to providing outstanding service to residents and clients.
