A growing Food consumer products manufacturer is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and engineering operations across a complex manufacturing environment. This leadership role offers the opportunity to drive reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives while developing high-performing maintenance teams.
Position SummaryThe Maintenance Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for maintenance, engineering, facilities, and reliability programs. The successful candidate will have extensive experience within food, beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or other highly regulated manufacturing environments and a proven track record of improving equipment performance, plant reliability, and maintenance effectiveness.
Responsibilities- Lead all maintenance, facilities, utilities, and engineering activities.
- Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment uptime, efficiency, and operational performance.
- Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and work order systems.
- Oversee spare parts inventory and MRO processes.
- Ensure the effective operation of electrical, controls, and automation systems.
- Lead capital improvement and equipment upgrade projects.
- Develop, mentor, and manage maintenance and engineering personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are highly desirable.
- Extensive maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CMMS systems, TPM, predictive maintenance, and reliability programs.
- Experience managing maintenance teams and developing technical talent.
- Proven success delivering capital projects and operational improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, facilities, utilities, and automation systems.
- Experience working within regulated production environments.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, maintenance technologies, and engineering tools.
