The Facility Equipment Mechanic is responsible for performing general repairs and preventative maintenance activities on utility systems and associated equipment within process facilities and drill sites.

• Maintain competency in troubleshooting facility mechanical systems which may include turbines, reciprocating gas compressors, air compressors, pumps, and valves.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities on utility systems and equipment.
• Inspect, identify and repair or rebuild identified mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspection and maintenance activities.
• Organize and work alongside installation contractors.
• Use computers for research, material ordering, writing and updating work orders.
• Communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.
• Act as a single point of contact (S.P.O.C.) for off‑site and on‑site vendors.
• Keep equipment, tools and the work area clean and maintained.
• Perform other duties assigned as needed.
• Comply with company and customer policies and procedures.
• Support AES zero‑incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities and operations.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years related training and experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Driver’s License required.

• Experience in the oil and gas industry and in the arctic environment preferred.
