Position SummaryPart‑time 20‑29 hours per week – $19.41 (S) ; $18.66 (J). This role involves stocking and janitorial duties across multiple locations. No prior experience required; paid training is provided.

- Perform direct labor in accordance with OSHA safety standards and site management requirements.
- Move merchandise using heavy equipment.
- Stock shelves and displays, rotate stock, and repair labels.
- Clean shelves and front merchandise.
- Operate cardboard bailer and pallet jacks.
- Empty trash, sweep, mop, and clean restrooms.
- Maintain hard floors and spot‑clean carpets.
- Clean the meat market area.
- Participate actively in company meetings and trainings.
- Maintain pro‑active relationships with customers and coworkers.
- Adhere to all company policies.
- Support team efforts and strengthen team structures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Education and Experience:
No formal education or experience required. Six months of prior successful employment or related experience preferred. High school diploma or GED is a plus. - Language
Skills:
Ability to read and recognize simple words and numbers; ability to print and speak simple sentences. - Reasoning Ability:
Apply common sense to carry out simple instructions; manage standardized situations with minimal variables. - Certificates and Licenses:
Insured vehicle and a valid Alaska driver’s license (with no or low points). Provide a driving record and proof of insurance ply with Joint Base Elmendorf/Richardson transportation regulations. Pass a criminal background check and obtain security clearance for the worksite.
Skills and Abilities
- Experience in grocery stocking.
- Familiarity with industry‑standard stocking and janitorial equipment.
- Experience working with individuals who have disabilities.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.
- Frequently required to climb or balance.
- Must regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Occasional exposure to high, precarious places.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
