Our client, a leading organization in facility management, is seeking an Operating Engineer 2 to join their team. As an Operating Engineer 2, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the maintenance and safety of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$33-36/hr
What's the Job?Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across all systems.
Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems.
Monitor equipment performance, record readings, and make necessary adjustments for optimal operation.
Ensure compliance with safety policies, proper handling of hazardous materials, and maintain a clean work environment.
Coordinate with outside contractors, monitor work quality, and manage inventory of tools and instruments.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2-4 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
EPA 608 Type II Certification.
Proficiency with computer applications such as Word and Excel.
