Pay: $21.41 - $24.10 per hour

• Assist the Capital Maintenance Technician on projects such as flooring installation, water heater installation, and more.
• Ensure assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner.
• Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies.
• Follow established Universal Precautions when performing housekeeping procedures.
• Replace burned out light bulbs, including exit lights, fluorescent lights, emergency lights, and nurse call lights, and perform routine cleaning in high areas.
• Change filters on HVAC units.
• Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc. from surfaces using proper cleaning solutions.
• Discards waste and trash into proper containers and relines trash receptacles with plastic liners.
• Report all hazardous conditions or equipment to the Facilities Director.
• Report all unusual activity by residents or others affecting safety or security of other residents or the community.

• Basic knowledge of proper usage and safe operation of basic hand tools and power tools used in making repairs.
• Must report for work on time and on a regular basis as scheduled.

• 8‑hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime available

• Working in a senior community requires a full criminal background check and drug test.
• Proof of flu vaccination will be required upon hire. COVID‑19 vaccination is highly recommended; if not vaccinated, a surgical mask may be required during flu season.
