Our Maintenance department seeks a maintenance technician. This role is responsible for supporting the daily operation, appearance, safety and functionality of corporate facilities by performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, inspections and customer-focused support services across office, disaster recovery and warehouse environments. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio.
Starting pay:
The pay range for this position is $19.23 - $33.65 hourly. The pay is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to:
- perform routine lighting maintenance and repairs, including bulb and ballast replacements, fixture cleaning and basic troubleshooting
- complete basic plumbing tasks such as clearing drains, fixing minor leaks, replacing faucet components and maintaining battery-operated restroom fixtures
- assemble, adjust and repair office furniture, including desks, shelves, chairs, monitor arms, whiteboards and wall-mounted items
perform minor carpentry projects, drywall repairs, ceiling tile replacements, carpet tile replacements, touch-up painting and door hardware adjustments - complete simple power and CAT6/horizontal cabling installations related to furniture reconfigurations
- conduct routine inspections of building architectural systems, common areas, stairwells, restrooms, walkways and life-safety equipment
- support health, safety and appearance standards to maintain a clean, professional Class A and B office environment
- assist with event setups, office moves, workstation reconfigurations and vendor support activities
- perform basic groundskeeping tasks, including picking up debris, sweeping walkways, watering seasonal plantings, managing leaves and pressure washing
- support snow removal operations, including salting, shoveling and operating snow removal equipment as needed
- respond to facility emergencies such as leaks, power outages and weather-related events, including after-hours, weekends and holidays
- perform other duties as assigned to support smooth and reliable facility operations
- ability to safely and correctly use hand tools and light power tools
- working knowledge of basic maintenance safety practices, PPE usage and hazard recognition
- strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical audiences
- ability to read and interpret basic drawings, floor plans, specifications and manufacturer instructions
- experience using Microsoft® Outlook and Teams for communication
- experience with or willingness to learn a Computerized Maintenance Management System
- a valid driver's license with eligibility to operate company vehicles
- ability to maintain CPR, First Aid and AED training or certifications

- previous experience in facilities maintenance, general maintenance, custodial support or a related field
- technical training or hands-on experience with mechanical, plumbing, electrical or building systems
