Observe good housekeeping practices and properly use and care for basic shop tools (grinders, saws, drills, bearing presses) and ensure tools are replaced after use;
Safely and properly use acetylene torches for cutting and heating;
Perform basic plumbing techniques, including soldering pipes and cutting/gluing PVC;
Demonstrate the ability to replace basic component parts on equipment (valves, bearings, filters, V-belts);
Perform basic building maintenance tasks (painting, cleaning, repairs) and repair wire belt and plastic conveyors
