Hospital Housekeeper – Evening​/Night Shifts

Position

We are hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time HOUSEKEEPER positions at Thomas Hospital, 750 Morphy Avenue, Fairhope, AL 36532. Online applications only.

Full‑time and part‑time schedules. Monday through Friday, rotating weekends. Shifts include:

• 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
• 6:00 pm – 6:30 am

Fixed pay rate: $13.50 per hour.

• No experience required – willing to train.
• Florida Level 2 background screening required.

• Perform light cleaning duties including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs and draperies; shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings; clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers; dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers; wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make up beds and change linens as required.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
• Respond to guest queries and requests; respond to housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses.
• Contribute to team efforts; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
