Trash Technician

Job Overview

Position:
Trash Technician (Full‑time) – Thomas Hospital, Fairhope, AL. No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided. Fixed hourly wage: $13.50.

Monday–Friday, 7:00 am‑3:30 pm. Nights and weekends are rotating, details during interview.

Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio‑hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

• Identify, transport, and dispose of trash, chemicals, and bio‑hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Perform assigned cleaning functions and operate cleaning equipment.
• Recognize safety hazards and act appropriately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Physical ability to walk, stand, and push trash containers weighing 50–100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
