Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting facility operations and maintenance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (Weekends as needed)

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout the facility

+ Complete preventative and reactive maintenance tasks as assigned

+ Perform building maintenance including plumbing, lighting, wiring, and structural repairs

+ Maintain facility equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and material handling equipment

+ Inspect building areas to identify safety hazards or repair needs

** What's Needed?*
* + High School Diploma or GED required

+ 1-3 years of general maintenance or facility maintenance experience preferred

+ Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs

+ Ability to operate standard maintenance tools and power tools

+ Ability to read and follow basic maintenance instructions and safety procedures
