Maintenance Technician

Our client, in the seafood manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting facility operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Shift:
** 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (Weekends as needed)

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout the facility.

+ Complete preventative and reactive maintenance tasks as assigned.

+ Perform building maintenance including plumbing, lighting, wiring, and structural repairs.

+ Maintain facility equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and material handling equipment.

+ Inspect building areas to identify safety hazards or repair needs.

** What's Needed?*
* + High School Diploma or GED required.

+ 1-3 years of general maintenance or facility maintenance experience preferred.

+ Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.

+ Ability to operate standard maintenance tools and power tools.

+ Ability to read and follow basic maintenance instructions and safety procedures.

* + Realizar trabajos generales de mantenimiento y reparación en toda la instalación.

+ Completar tareas de mantenimiento preventivo y reactivo según se asignen.

+ Realizar mantenimiento en edificios, incluyendo plomería, iluminación, cableado y reparaciones estructurales.

+ Mantener equipos de la instalación como montacargas, tijeras y equipos de manejo de materiales.

+ Inspeccionar áreas del edificio para identificar riesgos de seguridad o necesidades de reparación.

* + Diploma de escuela secundaria o GED requerido.

+ De 1 a 3 años de experiencia en mantenimiento general o mantenimiento de instalaciones preferido.
