Floor Technician

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Floor Technician position at HSHS Saint Elizabeth's Hospital (1 Saint Elizabeths Boulevard, O'Fallon, IL 62269). Online applications only. The position requires a full-time schedule, including possible rotating weekends, and a minimum of 1 year of prior floor‑care experience. Fixed hourly rate: $16.22.

Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining, restoring, and operating industrial floor care equipment across various surface types.

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and execute proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate diverse industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment to clean large floor areas.
• Follow correct procedures for carpet and upholstery cleaning (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.).
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes on all floor surface types.
• Execute other duties assigned by manager.

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor-care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Capacity to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
