Maintenance Technician

A successful Maintenance Technician will demonstrate

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Follow and demonstrate Roers' Core Values of Respect, Opportunity, Partnership, Experience, Expertise and Community when working with team members, customers and our external communities.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and understanding basic maintenance and repair techniques;
  Wall Repair/Patching, Light Plumbing and Electrical, Painting
• Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Ensure third party vendor contracts are completed satisfactorily.
• Demonstrate the ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the residential/commercial properties;
  Will include some light janitorial responsibilities.

Other Requirements:

• Must have a valid US driver's license and clean driving record.
• Good written and verbal skills.
• Own and provide basic carpentry tools.
• Knowledge of appliances preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Education/

Experience:

• Proficient in basic maintenance issues and repairs
• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or residential/commercial construction or related field
• High School Diploma/GED

Work Environment:

• Must be able to travel to off-site assignments as required.
• Available to work overtime and after normal working hours for service calls.
• Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds.
