Retail Display Installer – Technology
Location: Travel up to 90 miles from home on average. Paid drive time and mileage reimbursement.
Schedule: Work Monday–Friday. Weekends not required, but availability may be needed for occasional assignments.
Overview2020 Companies is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and self‑motivated Field Service Representative to represent leading tech brands including Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. In this role you will install, update, and repair in‑store displays, ensuring compliance with planograms and client directives.

- Respond promptly to field service management and maintain accurate availability records.
- Complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
- Install and build displays, end caps, and fixtures according to planograms.
- Submit necessary forms, images, and surveys before leaving a job site.
- Perform break‑fix repairs and maintain displays according to client requests.
- Participate in early‑morning installations and team installations when required.
- Manage virtual software tools and ensure timely execution of related tasks.
- Assist team members as needed and contribute to team success.
- Track, record, and communicate activity through designated systems.
- Communicate effectively and provide feedback to improve processes.
- Be available for weekend assignments as needed.
- Hours and locations may vary week to week; early‑morning hours and holidays may be required.
- Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt.
- Follow all client directives and execute tasks fully and completely.
- Collaborate with shared services to achieve goals, identify improvement opportunities, and drive operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shared services, local and regional markets, clients, retailers, and internal teams.
- Foster collaboration and communication across stakeholders.
- Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and strong leadership.
- Set a high standard for behavior and maintain a positive work environment.
- Work across company functions to ensure alignment and operational success.
- Meet or exceed shared service field KPIs for customer and client satisfaction.
- Provide and receive feedback to continually improve service.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous retail or merchandising experience is beneficial but not required.
- Installation and merchandising experience preferred.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow planogram directives and secondary communication.
- Flexible availability Monday‑Friday.
- Weekend and holiday availability as needed.
- Early‑morning and late‑night availability as needed.
- Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period.
- Climb a ladder up to 10 feet.
- Safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
- Can kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, grasp, and reach overhead.
- Adjust to varying tasks and work environments.
- Effective phone, text, and email communication.
- Use a smartphone for timekeeping, photography, app usage, and internet connectivity.
- Respond promptly to management (typically within 24 hours).
- Must own an Android or Apple mobile device for photo upload and data entry.
- Navigate various communication platforms independently.
- Complete all training assignments within designated time frames.
- Work collaboratively and autonomously.
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- Willingness to travel up to 90 miles per assignment or shift.
- Superior leadership and professional communication skills.
- Make sound decisions, exercise good judgment, and problem‑solve effectively.
- Work autonomously with excellent time management and reporting.
