Maintenance Technician - Part-Time

Spring Hill Suites Fargo is looking for a dependable, hands‑on Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotel, guest rooms, and common areas safe, functional, and well maintained.

This is a part‑time position offering approximately 24–32 hours per week, including some weekends. Pay is $19.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience.

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel
• Troubleshoot and assist with HVAC systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot pool and hot tub equipment
• Handle basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Complete basic carpentry and general building repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and common areas
• Respond to maintenance requests and address issues in a timely manner
• Perform custodial and deep‑cleaning tasks as needed, including carpet shampooing
• Help maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of the property
• Assist with seasonal and special maintenance projects

• General working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, pools, and carpentry
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
• Previous experience in hotel, apartment, commercial building, or general maintenance is preferred
