ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
The position requires hands‑on experience with the ability to research and provide details onnew technology and methods to improve day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate withthe
Technologyteamand ATE market leaders to assess the needs of ATE Technicians.
- Purchase andmaintainall OEM and aftermarket tooling and licensing.
- Maintainaccurateinventory of all ATE tooling and equipment, including location assignment.
- Ensure that essential tools for technicians are consistently stocked atthe
ATE Training & Technology Centerand readily available for shipping.
- Ship requested and approved toolsin a timely manner with the most cost-effective shipping methods based on the urgency of the needs. (i.e.technician tooling kits)
- Conduct research toestablishthe most cost-effective pricing and shipping solutions for vendors/suppliers and shipping methods.
- Collaborate with ATE market leaders to obtain tooling and equipment needs specific to each market.
- Investigate and resolve tooling hardware/software issues, processing RMAs as needed.
- Workcloselywith ATE Fleet & Mobile Technician departments to ensure all tooling and equipment is upfitted to maximize efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of automotive background servicing and diagnosing automotive systems.
- 1+ years working as an ADAS Calibration Technician, with advanced knowledge in ADAS and electrical services, equipment/tooling, and procedures.
- Strong technological skills, including but not limited to:
Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols related to ADAS technologies
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional professionalism with a passion for the industry and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence.
- May require occasional travel locally with possible overnight travel.
- A safe driving record and a valid Driver’s License required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand forlong periodsof time in automotive shop environments.
