Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Building Maintenance

Beztak is looking to hire a Redec Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for supervising their service technician team to ensure that vacated units are made market ready in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Motivate and hold accountable a team to provide excellent customer service and high-quality units in a timely manner.
- Assists with various duties such as building repairs, snow removal, or groundskeeping to provide residents with a clean and well-maintained living environment.
- Inspects construction and installation progress.
- Working in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, having effective interpersonal skills.
- Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties. Candidates must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed.
- Flexible, innovative, and demonstrates the ability to lead and manage
- High integrity, positive attitude, mission driven and self-directed
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- High school diploma or related Vocational Training and/or equivalent work experience
- HVAC knowledge and EPA certification preferred
- 1-2 years supervisory experience
- Previous hotel, commercial and/or apartment maintenance experience a plus

This position requires frequent standing and walking with occasionally climbing stairs, bending over, or reaching overhead. Pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT- This position typically operates indoors in an air-conditioned office, with a mixture of natural, incandescent and fluorescent light.
- You may be exposed to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and snow; it is common to encounter extreme conditions, including high heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and heavy rain while performing outdoor tasks.
- You will also periodically be confined to a vehicle.
