Janitorial Cleaner

Position: JANITORIAL CLEANER
** Overview*
* We are looking for a reliable and experienced Part Time Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment across assigned facilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the overall appearance and sanitation of the workplace, contributing to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

** Responsibilities*
* -  Clean and maintain buildings/facilities

-  Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures

-  Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs

-  Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.

-  Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities

-  Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

-  Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.

-  Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

-  Dusts furniture, walls and light fixtures

-  May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.

-  Mixes water and detergent or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.

-  Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment.

-  Gathers and empties trash

-  Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs

-  Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures

-  Services, cleans and supplies restrooms

-  Cleans glass doors

-  Must keep janitor's closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order

- Requisition s supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties

-  Miscellaneous duties as assigned

** Qualifications*
* Required:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
