Electro-Mechanical Technician
Pay Range: $25-$28/hour
Day Shift | Full-Time | Victor, NY
About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you'll perform repairs, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and support preventative maintenance across a variety of manufacturing and facility systems. Your work helps reduce downtime, improve reliability, and keep our operations running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose, repair, replace, and maintain a wide range of manufacturing and facility equipment
- Perform emergency, corrective, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Fabricate, install, and repair equipment using electrical and mechanical tools
- Use electrical shop tools such as conduit benders, cable pullers, and man-lifts
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (multimeters, calipers, micrometers, vibration analyzers, gauges, thermometers, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and engineering documentation
- Complete scheduled PMs and document findings, including corrective actions
- Perform facility and building maintenance (lighting, minor plumbing, ceiling repairs, office moves, etc.)
- Coordinate with production to prioritize maintenance work effectively
- Maintain parts and supply inventories and submit requisitions as needed
- Keep work areas organized, clean, and safe
- Participate in safety training; identify and report safety concerns
- Continue developing skills in machining and fabrication tools (mills, grinders, lathes, welding)
- Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Electrical/mechanical vocational or trade school diploma or equivalent hands-on job training
- 5-6 years of experience in electro-mechanical repair and troubleshooting preferred
- Strong knowledge of industrial layouts, materials, equipment, and components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints
- Experience using CMMS systems is preferred
- Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, mechanical systems, and facility equipment
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and communicate effectively across teams
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Initiative, reliability, and willingness to learn and expand technical capability
- Regularly required to stand, sit, bend, reach, use hands, talk, and hear
- Must be able to lift/move up to 45 lbs
- Requires close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Noise levels vary and may be loud at times
- Must be able to perform duties while wearing required PPE (eye, ear, respiratory, hand, and foot protection)
