Warehouse Associate
Purpose: As a warehouse associate, you will fulfill the logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to purchase orders and warehouse policy. You will also ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Stock, sort, and clean the warehouse
- Manage large quantities of material and inventory
- Load and unload materials and tools
- Oversee shipping and receiving lines
Qualifications:
- Ability to learn quickly with a desire to continue learning
- Strong work ethics
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills required
- Excellent communication skills to be used when working with Kimbel employees and customers
- Having a general knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical parts is helpful
- Work hours are 7am - 5pm, M-F
- Ability to pass a drug screen
Physical Requirements
Lifting and Carrying:
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects, typically up to 50–75 lbs independently
Mobility and Agility:
Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces, and kneeling or crouching for extended periods
Manual Dexterity:
Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small tools and components with precision
Stamina:
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8–12 hour shift , often in varying weather conditions or non-climate-controlled environments
