The Maintenance Specialist makes minor repairs to the interior/exterior of buildings and facilities and maintains furniture and equipment, employing basic skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical.
** Essential Duties:
*** Minor Repairs to the interior/exterior of building.
* Maintains furniture and equipment.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
** Rate of Pay: $14.00 per hour

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** The formal equivalent of a high school diploma
* Experience with building maintenance
* Experience in repair and/or maintenance of equipment
* Other job related education and/or experience
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** At least 2 years of building maintenance experience
* Valid drivers license
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
*** The position requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials and objects weighing up to 100 pounds, or heavier weights with the use of proper equipment
* Must be able to work during different weather climates; to include hot/cold weather, rain, etc.
* Read and comprehend printed materials i.e. schematics, layouts, etc.
* Operate varied hand and power tools and equipment
* Strength, stamina, and mobility to perform light to medium physical work
