Experienced Maintenance Technician – King County
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Technician in King County to support the day-to-day operations of our residential communities. This role is responsible for maintaining property systems, completing repairs, and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents, under the direction of the Property Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Complete maintenance service requests, work orders, and unit make-ready preparations
- Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and basic structural work
- Inspect, monitor, and maintain building systems and interior/exterior common areas
- Maintain property grounds, including trash removal and light landscaping tasks
- Clean and maintain interior common spaces as needed
- Assist with special projects and coordinate with vendors and contractors
- Identify and promptly report safety hazards, incidents, or property concerns
- Participate in on-call coverage and emergency maintenance response
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in residential or multifamily settings
- Strong working knowledge of hand and power tools across multiple trades
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks
- Competitive hourly pay: $35–$40 DOE
