Environmental Services; EVS Assistant - PM Shifts

Job Summary

Environmental Services Assistants (EVS) keep our facilities clean, safe, and looking great. They are responsible for maintaining cleanliness, performing rounds, and following safety and infection control policies. They must communicate effectively with employees, visitors, and patients and maintain confidentiality regarding patients, employees, and the public.

• Clean & disinfect public areas, restrooms, offices, and exam rooms.
• Trash & recycling collection.
• Floor care (vacuuming, extracting, sweeping, mopping).
• Dusting.
• Cleaning of glass.
• Maintaining equipment and storage/supply areas.
• Assist in other areas as requested.

To perform in this position satisfactorily requires that the person be able to read and write and follow written and oral directions.

• Hourly wage: $16.69 – $23.00, based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

40 hours biweekly, shifts from 5pm–9pm, Monday to Friday.
