The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in promoting a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being.

• Full‑Time (40 hours/week)
• Day Shifts
• Night Shifts
• Evening Shifts
• All Positions Require Rotating Weekends/Holidays

• Education:
  
  Although a high school diploma or GED is preferred, we are pleased to offer comprehensive on‑the‑job training to support your success at Mercy.
• Experience:
  
  Prior hospital environmental service experience preferred. Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks preferred. Prior experience working with the public; customer service.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • This role involves frequent movement throughout the hospital during the majority of the shift.
  • Flexibility and physical stamina are essential.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support departmental operation.
