Janitor; Part Time

Job Summary

Keep buildings clean and orderly. Perform heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning, then place furniture back in correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces and follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refine floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Part-time schedule available;
  Monday through Friday, various shifts from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
• At least one year of prior janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Some positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.

• Pay Range: $17.10–$17.60 per hour.
• Same-day pay.
