Bangs Laboratories Bangs Laboratories experience in microsphere synthesis and fine particle analysis have established us as a leading manufacturer of polymer, silica and magnetic microspheres for diagnostic, research, and flow cytometry applications. We also manufacture many specialty products to support validation and QC programs for analytical instruments, including a broad portfolio of fluorescent, count, size, and cell viability standards.

Summary of Position:

As a Facility Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This position will assist the Facilities Manager with duties related to maintaining Bangs Laboratories facility and grounds.

Essential Functions Performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks across the facility (floor scrubbing, mopping, changing light bulbs, etc.)Ensuring all areas are well-stocked and organized.

General cleaning duties of facilities and grounds (maintain plants and watering, outside trash/property clean up, pressure washing, etc.)Identifying and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

Working collaboratively with the team to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Assist with DI water system maintenance.

HVAC coil cleaning.

Laboratory cleaning as directed by Facilities Manager.

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GEDDependable and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic.

Comfortable taking initiative and managing tasks independently.

Team player who values collaboration and communication.

Committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Previous maintenance experience preferred.
