Full-time role at Hatchery Hill Clinic

The Facilities Technician is responsible for coordinating and performing tasks at assigned GHC‑SCW sites that achieve a well‑maintained, safe, and clean health care facility. Tasks include performing repair, maintenance, and minor construction duties; assisting in compliance with health and safety regulations; and overseeing the mail process of the facility. This position is under the general supervision of the Facilities Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School graduation or GED required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of training or experience in construction trades, maintenance or mechanical skills required.
  • Possession and maintenance of a valid Wisconsin driver's license required. Must meet and maintain insurability standards to operate GHC‑SCW owned vehicles.
  • Ability to make trips in company‑owned or employee‑owned vehicle on a regular basis to various locations for work‑related duties required.
  • Working knowledge of tools and skills related to general maintenance work and an understanding of schematic and wiring drawings including building drawings required.
  • Basic knowledge of electricity to enable performance of minor electrical repairs required.
  • Working knowledge of painting, staining, and carpentry required.
  • Working knowledge of office design and layout required.
  • Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, (i.e. early mornings, evenings and weekends) and be a member of call list required.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work requests required.
  • Ability to carry out clinic policies and government regulations required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality required. Knowledge of or ability to learn HIPAA requirements.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required. Ability to be culturally sensitive and work with a diverse population.
  • Ability to adhere to GHC‑SCW attendance, punctuality and dress code policy required.
  • Ability to follow safety requirements in daily operations required.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, finger and feel objects on a frequent to constant basis required.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull loads ranging from 20‑200 pounds on a frequent basis required.
  • Ability to make trips in company‑owned or own vehicle to various locations for work‑related duties required.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service required.
