, on‑site position for Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers at Flagstaff Medical Center, Flagstaff, Arizona. Shift 7:00 am‑3:30 pm with rotational weekends and holidays. Pay is $19.05 per hour.
- Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Polishes metalwork.
- Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
- Successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 as a condition of employment.
- Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
- Experience in medical cleaning is a plus.
- Post‑offer medical, background screening, and drug test required.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach, and use arms. The employee frequently needs to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The job requires the ability to stand for long periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses, may be required.
Possible exposure to chemicals may also be present.
The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts. Noise level is usually quiet. The environment may involve exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.
