Maintenance Technician (Temporary) – Junipine (Sedona, AZ)
We are seeking a full-time (Temporary) Maintenance Technician to work with our team to maintain our beautiful community in Sedona, AZ. We’re offering competitive wages and benefits for full-time employees. Overall, maintenance experience is necessary.
Experience- 1-2 years of building and grounds maintenance experience and HVAC experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in a residential community (preferred).
- Flexible scheduling, weekdays/weekends, holidays, etc., and responsiveness to after‑hours emergency calls.
- HVAC and Pool Certification is a plus (preferred).
- Daily property inspections and reporting of any/all service issues to the supervisor.
- Perform basic mechanical, electrical, and building maintenance; vendor scheduling and monitoring.
- Maintenance of common areas and maintaining the Work Order database.
- Keep property, flower beds, parking areas, and common areas free of all debris and trash.
- Perform minor repairs, touch‑up painting, and minor irrigation repairs.
- Identify and report any safety issues to management.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- Position involves standing and moving throughout the day; must be able to transport oneself around the property.
- Position will alternate between working indoors in a controlled climate with proper lighting and outdoors with variable climate and lighting.
- Must be able to lift heavy loads using safe work methods; able to lift 75 pounds or more.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
- Ability to consistently project a positive image of the Company.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment, while handling interruptions as part of the routine.
- Strong team player, willing to help and assist others when needed.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Strong sense of and high standard for customer service.
- An enthusiastic, professional, and positive demeanor.
- Integrity and credibility.
Selected candidate(s) are subject to background and drug screening.
All Maintenance personnel are required to undergo a general physical ensuring the healthy ability to lift 50 lbs; this is arranged by our offices at no out‑of‑pocket cost.
Candidates may also be required to consent to a Motor Vehicle Report.
