Nighttime Custodian

Job Overview

Holy Rosary School in Flint is accepting applications to fill a part-time custodian position.

The custodian is responsible for general cleaning of the school classrooms and common areas. This is a part time, 19 hour per week position.

• Perform a variety of facility janitorial duties such as sweep, vacuum, clean restrooms and tabletops.
• Possibly help with a variety of installations and or minor repairs, snow and ice removal from walkways.
• Prioritizes and completes maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Is responsible for all equipment, vehicles, and tools used.
• Other duties may be assigned on a project basis.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Custodial/janitorial/housekeeping experience preferred.

Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license and must pass a criminal background check.

Physical Demands: Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach, and climb ladders. Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
